Families Relief has been working in Gaza since 1995, we have been providing essential aid to the devastated families which are in need of vital food parcels, crucial clean water and basic medical aid to help them sustain a normal life as possible in this region through our tailored programmes.
In March 2004 Families Relief received permission to have a permanent office in the Gaza region of Palestine.
With our full time office in Gaza we are able to work directly with the impoverished of people in Gaza on a day-to-day basis, during all conflicts of war since 1995.
Our staffs have firsthand experience of working under extreme and volatile conditions in Gaza and Palestine. Our office on the ground is dedicated to providing the ongoing support and aid that is needed for the people of Gaza and Palestine.

Our Projects
- Imagine what it must be like to be a parent and not being able to provide for your family and living in a war torn zone. The people of Gaza cannot find work to survive and provide for their families.
- Provide a family of upto 12 people with a food parcel which contains the basic essential foods such as rice, oil, flour, bread and milk. This will provide a family with food that will last them approximately one month
- By providing a family with a food parcel you would be reliving the suffering and hunger plight of many who are unable to go out and find that food for the survival of their family

- As many thousands have been left without mothers or fathers they are now dependant on the support of the orphan programme.
- Through individual support programmes we aim to tailor for each Orphan’s needs. Your contribution will provide for schooling, food, clothing and healthcare which will help to provide them with a secure and stable future.
- The Orphan is left to struggle for survival. Families Relief brings hope to the Orphan by placing them in a secure familiar environment of friends and relatives they know.
- Sponsor an Orphan today and provide a relationship which is missing in their life by support and development, this is not a substitute to having parent.

- Due to the lack of food resources that are available hundreds if not thousands of children go without food
- £1 a day will provide school children with a fully nutritional breakfast on a daily basis enabling them to continue with their school day without the possibility of fainting due to not having food for as many as 3 days.

- Sewage is flooding into the streets as the waste water pumping stations are shutting down due to lack of electricity, many people have now been left with dirty drinking water which especially affects the children in schools
- The School Water Fountain, project builds a drinking water fountain system at the school which purifies the dirty water protecting the school children from malnutrition and diseases.
- Help Families Relief to build a water fountain at every school in Gaza to keep the children away from drinking contaminated water

- Drinking water in Gaza is contaminated as Sewage is flooding into the streets as the waste water pumping stations are shutting down due to lack of electricity.
- In addition to the extreme poverty levels in Gaza, many families cannot afford to electricity or water and are left with the contaminated water streams.
- The Home Water Tank initiate by Families Relief provides the family household with a Water Tank, this water tank will be filled up with clean water on a monthly basis allowing families to enjoy clean water without having the risk of infection and diseases.
- Help Families Relief to install these water tank in every household in Gaza for only £15 a month

- Many people of Gaza have found themselves to be left in a state of disability due to recent events, many can no longer walk and provide everyday mobility for themselves.
- By providing wheelchairs and walking aids to those who have now been left disabled, you are enabling them to return back to their homes and live a normal life as far as possible

- Everyday medical treatment is scarcely available due to the shortage of Medical Kit that are available to the thousands of casualties that flood into the main hospitals of Gaza
- Medical aid kits are an essential remedy to the treatment for the people of Gaza with thousands needing long-term medical treatment. Your contribution would help alleviate the ongoing pressures of everyday life.
