Families Relief has been operating in Bangaldesh since 2000. Providing the people of Bangladesh with food parcels and taking care of the orphans and also families. The population of Bangladesh is estimated to be 150 million.
Health and education levels have recently improved as poverty levels have decreased. Nevertheless, Bangladesh remains among the poorest nations in the world. Most Bangladeshis are rural, living on subsistence farming. Nearly half of the population lives on less than 1 USD per day. Health problems abound, ranging from surface water contamination, to arsenic in the groundwater, and diseases including malaria, leptospirosis and dengue.
Bangladesh is frequently affected by frequent cyclones and floods, inefficient energy resources (such as natural gas) and insufficient power supplies.

- With little food and no clean water, millions of people are prone to malnutrition and ill health due to the poverty levels in Bangladesh
- Families Relief is currently providing the most deprived villages in Bangladesh with food parcels on a monthly basis
- Provide a family with a food parcel which contains the bare basic food requirements for upto 5 people to last them only one month
