Famine is just around the corner for millions of Africans as the problem of draught and locust has moved from city to city threatening the whole region of Africa.
2 million of the population are still facing famine, and children dying of dehydration.
Families Relief has been helping the people of Africa since 1995, with constant aid being provided to the people of Africa in the regions of Tunisia, Uganda, Niger, Eritrea and Somalia.

- Due to the draught affecting Africa, water is a far away luxury for the people living in Africa, with many villages having to walk miles to get a drop of water
- Help Families relief to build and maintain tube wells that are in villages to grant the local people with a continuous clean water supply

- Sponsor an Orphan today and provide a relationship which is missing in their support and development, but this is not a substitute to having parents.
- The sponsorship will help to reduce child poverty in the poorest communities of Africa where millions are facing war, famine and poverty as a part of their everyday life.

- Imagine what it must be like to be a parent and not being able to provide for your family and living in poverty. Poor people work very hard to survive and provide for their families and yet it is very difficult for them to improve their lives.
- The Family unit is largely affected in Africa, due to the famine and lack of water, helping disadvantaged families to improve their chances of livelihood
- We aim to support families through unique support programmes that aim to be tailored to each families needs and these are health, education, shelter and social welfare.
- Sponsoring a family in Africa will help them to manage poverty which so easily threatens the family unit to separate due to widespread famine, poverty and draught throughout villages, with most Africans living on less than 50p a day.

- Families Relief has successfully provided clean water by building a deep well in Niger which provides over 3 villages with clean water. This has help to stop the suffering of many people facing malnutrition, disease due to the draught, which stunts their growth as well as slowing down their immune system, leaving them more vulnerable to diseases.
- This deep well project provides essential water for the village’s to have good health, food, irrigations, sanitation and a opportunity to cultivate the land
- The well will be a source of clean water and an opportunity for more villages to develop and benefit from a local reliable source of water.
