Event Update: Medical Aid for Egypt
A big thank you to all the staff, volunteers, supporter and guests who helped organise and attended the "Medical Aid for Egypt" fundraiser over the weekend.
Where We Work
Sri Lanka still has not had time to recover from the terrible tragedy of the Tsunami as civil war has only exasperated the already fragile lives of those who live in Sri Lanka.
Working in Pakistan since before the floods, our work consists of building homes, distributing food, supplying clean water and providing for simple, yet life changing eye surgery.
Due to the continuing war like situation, there is a gradual decline in the Kashmiri peoples economic conditions, particularly in the far-flung areas whose population is suffering the most. Even primary education for their children is out of reach.
Families Relief has been operating in Iraq since 2004, and is now providing Families with basic food, water and medical aid whilst also providing family sponsorships.
Families Relief has been working in Gaza since 1995, providing families with food parcels, clean water and basic aid equipment to help them sustain a normal life in this region.
Families Relief has been operating in Bangaldesh since 2000. Providing the people of Bangladesh with food parcels and taking care of the orphans and also families.
Families Relief has been helping the people of Africa since 1995, with constant aid being provided to the people of Africa in the regions of Tunisia, Uganda, Niger, Eritrea and Somalia.
